The first muster roll is for Company G and dates from 30 April 1863 to 30 June 1863.
The second roll is for Company H of the same regiment and covers the same period.
Both documents are in good condition and are filled out in ink and signed by the Colonel Commanding, William E. Doster. Both mention that the respective companies took part in the battles of Aldie and Upperville during the Gettysburg Campaign.
There are some very minor separations along some of the folds but overall these documents are in very nice condition. [ad]
