Letter cover addressed to, “Sergt. William S. Weeks, Co. I. 5th Mich Cavalry, Camp Parole, Annapolis Maryland” is gold colored a features a three cent stamp. It is postmarked, “KALAMAZOO MICH, SEP 7”. Reversed is marked, “W B WILLIAMS, SEPT/64”.
Both envelopes measure 3” x 5 ¼”. Paper has yellowed with age and displays light surface dirt and smudges. [sm]
