This was one of two privately owned and funded institutions that served as both a hospital to wounded soldiers and a place where meals and refreshments were served for the troops. Pay to the order of Mrs. Gallagher, Seven and 2/100 Dollars. Measures 5” x 3”. Excellent condition. [ld]
