This is the envelope only (no letter) with Confederate postage. Two green, 5 cent, Jeff Davis postage stamps are attached at the upper right corner. The stamps are lightly cancelled; “ORANGE CH” and dated April 7.  Envelope is neatly addressed in ink to Mrs. C. S. Branch, Savannah, Ga.

Small envelope measures 5” x 2 ¾” with 1861 issue green Confederate stamps.  [jet]
