Copyright date is 1849; we believe this particular printing to be of the Civil War period.

Cover has a shield with the title at center. Artwork includes a cannon at bottom with flags, cannon barrels and crossed sabers at the sides with a nice US flag at top.

Item has some light surface dirt light wear to edges.    [ad]
