“COUNTY BONDS/ FOR SALE
The negotiations of County Bonds to pay the County subscription to the North-Western North Carolina Rail Road Company, are now nearly complete. A lot of these desirable bonds have been prepared in sums of $100 or its multiple, with eight per cent coupons, and are now ready for sale and delivery, and will be sold at ‘472 from how until the 1st day of December, if not sooner disposed of.
Those wishing to invest in these very desirable securities, had better call at once on the subscriber, at the First National Bank, where they can satisfy themselves that these bonds are the safest and most profitable investment now on the market.
The payment of these bonds is secured by a lien, superior to a first mortgage, on property worth over twenty for one; and in addition thereto, I am invested with ample power, from the proper authorities, which enable me to state that the interest and principal will be promptly paid on the day of maturity.
I invite all who have $72 or its multiple, to call, before it is too late, satisfy themselves as to the security, and invest.
I.G. Lash
Financial Agent for Forsyth County
