Pre-printed document filled out in ink and very readable. Document is dated 22^nd of August 1862 at the Cliffburne Hospital at Washington, D.C. Discharge is for Private Joseph L. Donough of Co.F, 93^rd Pa. Infantry. Pvt. Donough enlisted as a Private on October 12, 1861 and was discharged for disability on August 22, 1862. The record shows that Donough served for two more short periods with the 48^th Pa. Infantry and the 2^nd Pa. Heavy Artillery.
