Pre-printed document filled out in ink and very readable. Document is dated 22nd of August 1862 at the Cliffburne Hospital at Washington, D.C. Discharge is for Private Joseph L. Donough of Co.F, 93rd Pa. Infantry. Pvt. Donough enlisted as a Private on October 12, 1861 and was discharged for disability on August 22, 1862. The record shows that Donough served for two more short periods with the 48th Pa. Infantry and the 2nd Pa. Heavy Artillery.
