Measuring 19 x12", "this paper is a reproduction of 'The Vicksburg Daily Citizen,' as found by union soldier when Grant captured the City. Agents wanted to sell it. Price 5 cents. The Usual Discount to the Trade. Copies in any quantity can be obtained by addressing…Rider & Reynolds, Sole Agents for U.S. Dunkirk, N.Y." Reverse side features light alternating pattern wallpaper. Newspaper side very slightly yellowed, with one small chipped section along upper left margin. Else VG to fine.
