Center-fold features large striking panorama of General Sigel’s Corps at the Second Battle of Bull Run. Also two pages depicting General Buell’s 1862 Campaign in Kentucky. Editorially the paper excoriates General McClellan and his tentativeness in engaging the Rebels during the summer Peninsula Campaign, and the Maryland Antietam campaign just concluded. Overall a superb issue with dramatic eye-catching graphics.
In condition, near fine, with tiny mounting dots along left margin with two tiny tears along right and lower cover margins. Solid Harper Weekly collectible, & fine display issue with magnificent cover.
