Includes interior portrait and character sketch of Sherman subordinate, Gen. James M. McPherson. Also a spectacular “The First of April” Civil War Cartoon montage by famed cartoonist Thomas Nast.

Condition VG plus, with mounting dot marks along left margin, & slight yellowing along upper margin. In protective sleeve, with white card backing.
