Front cover features an illustrations of “General Sherman’s Entry Into Columbia, SC, February 17, 1865,” and a story titled, “The Battles In Prospect.” Interior illustrations include two pages of scenes from Sherman’s march through the Carolina’s, and well as a two page collage of “Scenes In Columbia, South Carolina, the Morning After the Fire.” Much illustration dealing with the war in the Carolinas.

Exhibits mounting dots and light chipping of left margin, plus faint fold-marks. Else VG plus, w/smooth cover. Superb coverage of Sherman’s progress through the Carolinas. In protective sleeve, w/white card backing.
