Interior illustrations include panoramic action scenes “The Sixth Corps In Action On The Opequon, September 19, 1864”, and “Early’s Army Falling Back Upon Winchester.” Also portrait sketches and stores of Major Generals David B. Birney, E.O.C. Ord, George Crook, and A. T. A. Torbert.” Plus an intriguing full sketch of “Rebels Moving South From Atlanta.
Exhibits mounting dots and light chipping on left cover margin. Faint fold-marks; double-page Center spread of “The Chicago [Democratic convention] Platform” is torn but intact.
