Front cover features dramatic full page illustration of “Union Refugees From Western Missouri Coming Into St. Louis.” Interior illustrations include two full pages depicting Ft. Pickens during bombardment, and another of Fort Pulaski near Savannah, GA. Plus two full pages of illustrations and stories of the Charleston, SC, fire, Dec. 11-12. Also “General Halleck’s Fleet of Mortar-Boats For Service On the Mississippi”, and the firing squad “Execution of William Johnson of General Franklin’s Division, of the Army of the Potomac.”

Exhibits mounting dots and light chipping of left cover margin, Slight smudging of lower right front corner. Rear page detached. Else VG, w/ smooth cover. A wealth of good illustrations. Solid collectible. In protective sleeve.  [JP]
