Interior illustrations feature “The Officer’s Quarters at Ft. Sumter,” along with full page sketches of Ft. Pickens, and Ft. Jefferson, w/ stories to match.

Exhibits mounting dots on left margin, w/a handful of small, unobtrusive inward tears on both margins. Else VG& handsome w/smooth front cover. Solid collectible, dating from the period of tension just prior to the shelling of Ft. Sumter and the beginning of war. In protective sleeve, w/white card backing.  [jp]
