Blade measures 21.25”. Overall length 26 1/8”. Brass handle and socket VG condition with scratches from use. Blade is marked “Made by / Ames Mfg. Co. / Chicopee / Mass” inside a scroll at ricasso. Reverse side dated 1861. Blade is in VG condition with small amount of light pitting near Ames mark and scattered along blade length in very small patches. Overall a very nice example.
