Very nice conditioned Model 1816 socket bayonet. The metal surface is semi-bright with only light scattered mottling and a very small amount of surface pitting in spots.
Blade flat is stamped with unreadable inspector’s initials over “US.” Where the knuckle meets the socket on the right side the bayonet is stamped with an “L” over “90.”
Clean looking bayonet.
