Nice untouched attic condition. Mid-18th century. Socket meas. 2 7/8”. Damaged on front of socket. Crude seam lap on neck. Blade length 13 ¼”, width 1 1/8”. Unusual attachment shield neck to socket. Blade is slightly bent to one side – adding to its charm.  [ss]
