Metal surfaces are in very nice condition with moderate mottling throughout. The 14.50 inch blade is a little brighter than the socket. Blade flat has a very strong “US” stamping. There is some minor tape residue on the lower portion of the face of the blade but this can be cleaned.
Locking ring has the proper mortise cut in the center with a stop pin. Ring operates properly.
Very nice example of a scarce bayonet. [ad]
