Completely blued socket bayonet that still retains 98% of the original finish throughout. Locking ring works well and blade has a good "US" stamping.
Metal scabbard has heavy mottling and light scattered pitting and spots of oxidation. Leather frog is good but shows moderate wear. Stitching is tight. Frog has a brass “NJ” rosette. Brass has a nice light patina. Frog bears the scratched initials “E.F.” [ad]
