See Robert Reilly, AMERICAN SOCKET BAYONETS and SCABBARDS, p. 55-56, ills. B76/B76A. Overall length is approximately 19”, blade length 16”. Top “flute”, or “fuller”, runs 9” forward to the tip. Unmarked as is the case with most Hall bayonets. Mostly bright with scattered patches of darker mottling. The “T” locking mortise is sound & completely symmetrical. Extremely scarce. [jet]
