18TH Century triangular iron socket bayonet. Bayonet measures 16 ¾” overall, socket measures 2 ¾” and blade measures 13”. Stamped on flat of blade large letters “US”, inspector’s initials “IN” next to “US”. On socket stamped unusual stamp (See Photos). Blade measures one inch of the widest point, tapers to 1/8 point. Blood grooves measures 6 ½” long. Semi-bright blade. [ws]
