Manufactured at the Harper’s Ferry or Springfield Armory, .69 caliber socket bayonet. Measures 17 7/8” long, socket measures 2 5/8” long. Letter “W” stamped near mortise. On flat of blade large “US”, letter “U” is faint. Number “4” stamped twice, before and after the US stamp. Bayonet cleaned, semi-bright patina, excellent condition. [ws]
