Measures 9 ¼” overall with a 5” spear-shaped blade. Blade is ¾” wide at cross guard. Has frosted floral designs on both sides of the blade. On one side there is also the Masonic square & compass symbol along with a hammer in addition to the generic designs.  A cross guard, 2” wide, is capped with a ball at each end. A German silver ferrule is at the base of the 3 ½” Ebony handle. The square handle features a ray-like pattern at the back end. The full tang runs through the grip and is peened on the end.

In condition, the blade has been sharpened and exhibits significant scratches on the edges and over the frosted designs. There are some extremely small spots of orange surface rust. A 1” hairline crack running up from ferrule on one side of grip only. Overall in good condition and attractive. Superb desk piece.   [jet]
