Maker marked on the ricasso, “MANHATTAN CUTLERY COMPY/ SHEFFIELD”. Measures 7 ¾” total length, blade measures 4” long. Knife has a spear-shaped double-edged blade. Blade is in very good condition with no nicks, spots or mottling.
Wooden handle features decorative mother-of-pearl inlays. Handle has some scuffs and a small surface crack is present near the brass guard.
Brown leather scabbard has a border of gold gilt and brass throat and drag. Leather has light crazing and scuffs. [sm]
