Maker marked on the ricasso, “A. PATTERSON FORTH WORKS / SHEFFIELD”. Measures 8 ¾” total length, blade measures 5” long. Knife has a spear-shaped single-edged blade. Blade has light spots or mottling and a couple of tiny nicks.
Antler handle has no cracks or chips. Knife features a brass guard.
Brown leather scabbard has a border of gold gilt and brass throat. Leather has light crazing and scuffs with heavier crazing at the tip. [sm]
