$295.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: E2762

The blade has a surface that is semi-bright with light scattered mottling. There are no nicks and the point is good. The reverse of the blade is marked “ALCOSO / SOLINGEN” with a company logo of scales with the letters “ACS.”

The counterguard is in the shape of a spread winged eagle with a wreath and swastika in its talons. The grip is made of orange Bakelite and is free of cracks or chips. The pommel cap at the top of the grip and the ferrule at the bottom are both decorated with a laurel leaf design. Pommel cap is darker than the rest of the metal surfaces.

The metal scabbard has the usual stippled finish with both mounts and rings. The mounts are decorated with the same laurel wreath decoration as the pommel cap and ferrule. The scabbard has discolored some with age and storage.

Still attached to the dagger is a broken portepee with a black, silver and red body and a silver and white acorn with a black, silver and red center.  [ad]
