Blade Etchings: “US” in center of obverse with American flag above. Panoply of flags with shield below. Reverse side with wing spread American Eagle with four US flags.

Grip: None.

Scabbard: None.

Condition, on a scale of 1 – 10:  Grip – 1; Blade – 5.

Sabre may have been in a fire. Very dark patina. Fire did not have any effect on the metal. Brass hilt with engraved floral / leaf designs. Pommel cap also with engraving. Etching is very deep. A nice restoration project.    [ss]
