Size: 31.5 inch blade with a sweeping curve  Condition: Excellent+

F. W. / Widmann / Ornamental / Sword / Mounter etched in ricasso area with Philadelphia on the reverse. Widmann is listed in 1825 as Ornamental Sword Mounter. This early Mamaluke has horn grip like the Tripoli swords, a very early flat blade with etching of arms, armor, cannon, flags, a face of the wind and foliate and scroll work. The brass scabbard has silver wash with brass ring mounts and drag.
