The hilt of this sword is French and the style of it would date to the early 1800’s to 30’s.

The sword has an overall length of 37.50 inches from point to pommel. The straight iron blade meas. approx. 33.00 inches long and is 1.25 inches wide at the ricasso. Blade is double-edged and tapers to a point. Ricasso area is raised but unmarked. Each side of the blade has three parallel, narrow unstopped fullers that begin just above the ricasso and run approx. 9.50 inches toward the point. The central fuller is a half inch longer than the other two.
