Manufactured: England
Maker: Unknown
Year: 1861-65
Model: M 1853 British Cavalry Saber
Size: 35.00

This imported saber has dark attic patina and a bright blade. It is not maker marked so it is unknown if it went North or South. Steel guard has a dark black patina. Leather grips are in great condition with minimal wear. Steel scabbard has identical dark patina and one small push below the top ring band on the obverse side. Blade is mostly bright with slight staining. Real nice example of the M1853 that was used by both the North and South during the war.
