.50 cal. percussion single shot breechloader. SN 18707. Manufactured by Massachusetts Arms Co., Chicopee Falls, Mass.  Total quantity made over 30,000. This is a really nice example and priced to sell. Walnut stock is in very fine condition with a very fine pair of inspector’s cartouches. Right side near wrist with a few minor scratches. Forestock perfect. Part round/part octagonal barrel retains nearly 100% of its original blue. Frame with very strong case colors. Bore is mint! Will not last long.  [ss]
