Maker marks: “Colt’s Patent / 44H”, somewhat worn, but legible. Made of iron, pliers-handled, measuring 4.875” in length, 1” at mold base. Double holed, for ball & conical bullets. Exhibits semi-bright, gray patina, with traces of pitting & light grime. Inner mold holes crisp. Solid army Colt mold. Excellent collectible.
