Stamped in black ink on the face is an attractive label with the silhouette of a minie ball at center surrounded by a chain-link boarder. Printed in two lines between the bullet and the top border is “RIFLE, MUSKET & RIFLE, 58---65 GRAINS M POWDER” while below the bullet in two lines is “ST. LOUIS ARSENAL---1864.”
