This small brass powder flask is decorated with a stamped design of a spread-winged eagle with patriotic shield accentuated by the rays of the sun around its head and surmounted by thirteen five-pointed stars. In the eagles talons he holds an olive branch and arrows. Below him is a riband with “E PLURIBUS UNUM.” Decoration is present on both sides of the flask.

Flask meas. approx. 4.00 inches long not including the spout which adds a 0.50 inch.

The body of the piece is very clean. One side has a slight push above the eagle’s head. The cap is present and operable. The seams of the two halves of the body are closed tight all the way around.
