Cardboard box meas. approx. 4.25 x 4.25 x 2.00. Lid has green label that reads “FORTY-TWO, PRIMED METALLIC CARTRIDGES, FOR SPENCER CARBINE CAL.50….MODEL 1865. MANUFACTURED BY SAGE AMMUNITION WORKS, MIDDLETOWN, CONN.” Lifting off the lid exposes the inside of the box which contains 5 inner packs of 7 rounds each. The box and the inner packs are in good condition with light wear and minor separations on the seams. The lid is split at all four seams but is still holding its shape. The label is near perfect.
