This is an iron bullet mould for Colt’s 1849 pocket revolver. Mould is about 4 ½” long with integral sprue cutter mounted on top. Two unblemished cavities; one round ball and one elongated Colt type bullet. Mould halves and sprue cutter move freely. Iron is clean with overall gray color and pin-prick surface pitting. Top of sprue cutter stamped “COLT’S / PATENT”. Nice bullet mould. [jet]
