This wiper was for the .69 caliber cavalry and artillery musketoon. Wipers were screwed to ramrods to hold a patch or wad of tow to clean the gun barrel. This pattern is unusual as it has a male threaded end. Double “cork screw” design that tapers. Approximately 2” long. [jet]
