Two piece brass mold that meas. approx. 7.25 inches long by 1.00 inch wide. The mold opens on an upper hinge which can very easily separate if desired. A look at the inside shows that the mold is capable of casting 30 small caliber buckshot.
The interior of the mold shows signs of use but is still in good condition. The exterior shows signs of heavy use with numerous dings and dents. One of the brass handles is broken off completely while the other has approx. 1.25 inches remaining. The brass is stamped on one side “JOHN B. WALTON” in an arc with “GREENSBORO, ALA.” in two lines across the bottom. [AD]
