Pasteboard box covered with a marbled wrap and green label and tape. Box held fifty “No. 46” rimfire cartridges. Box only no cartridges remain. Green label on top shows wear but remains in good condition. Cartridges made by Crittenden & Tibbals from South Coventry, CT. Green paper tape was used to seal the two halves of the box. Corners have bad wear and some loss. Overall the great box for Model 1865 cartridges for the Remington carbine. [jet]
