Serial number 1060800, 45 ACP cal, 1943 production type II. Barrel and barrel bushing has been replaced with a Micro- brand replacement. Left side of slide is marked with “USS” monogram and U.S. & S CO. / SWISSVALE, PA.U.S.A. Circular “RCD” on the frame and a “P” on the frame and slide. Finish is fine with half of the DU-LITE (blued over sandblasting) remaining.

Grips are Mexican made silver, with engraved scrolls, and engraved Incan-themed raised panels. This pistol was supposedly used by a boarder patrol officer in El Pasco, Texas, but it can be brought back to its WW2 look.
