Made c. 1872-88. Total quantity made 6000+. .50 cal. centerfire single shot pistol. 8” round barrel. Walnut grip with nice inspector’s cartouche “CRS” inside single line frame. Walnut forestock secured by a single screw. Very fine example. Frame with excellent makers markings with patent dates. Frame also with letters “P” and “S”. Excellent+ bore with rifling. Frame with case hardened finish now a light silver/gray. Barrel with traces of blued finish mixed with brown plum patina. Overall a really sharp and honest example.
