Serial Number “123167” [mid-1863]. .58 cal., percussion, six shot revolver. Matching serial numbers [wedge included]. Standard Colt company barrel markings, w/hint of inspector’s cartouche on lightly worn grips. Sub-inspector lettering present. Cylinder Naval battle scene visible, along with a light “Z” scratch. Metalwork exhibits light grey patina, along with minor dings consistent with age and usage. Bore moderately pitted. Else VG. The 1860 Army Colt was standardly issued to Non-commissioned officers and cavalry troopers. Solid collectible.
