COOPER DOUBLE ACTION POCKET MODEL REVOLVER SECOND VARIATION

$995.00 SOLD

Quantity Available: None

Item Code: 172-3815

This Cooper pocket model revolver is in good used condition. The 4.00 inch octagon barrel and loading lever retains 20% of the original blue. The right side of the barrel has some light scattered pitting. Bore is good but dirty and needs cleaning. The top of the barrel is clearly marked “MANFD BY J. M. COOPER & CO. PITTSH. PA.” The marking then lists all the patent dates which range from 1851 to 1860. The matching serial number of 640 can be found on the underside of the barrel, top of the loading lever, on the cylinder and bottom of the grip frame.

The 5-shot cylinder is void of any scene as is correct for this weapon. The cylinder retains only a hint of the original blue. All of the nipples are original and are mostly clean. Action works perfectly.

Frame trigger guard and grip frame are all iron. Frame screws are in excellent condition.

Walnut grips show light wear especially at bottom.
