Weapon is .22 rimfire pepperbox with four barrels. Barrel area has hint od bluing but is mostly gray in color. Barrels slide forward for loading by depressing a button on the underside of the forward section of the frame.

Frame is brass and mostly clean. One side is marked “C. SHARPS PATENT 1859” around frame screw while the other is marked “C. SHARPS PHILADA. PA.” on the other. Both markings are strong.

Some blue remains on hammer. Action does not work well. Hammer will move but not stay at half or full cock.

Grips are gutta-percha with a cut scroll design.

Weapon serial number is 47171.
