Typical single-shot, underhammer pistol. Simple design and workmanship are found in the walnut grip and brass strap on this gun. Featuring a well-constructed 6-inch, two-piece barrel where the 4-inch portion at the muzzle is round and the 2-inch piece at the breech is octagonal. The barrel is .36 caliber with six deep rifling grooves. The breech piece and the breech plug (with long tang and rear sight) are marked “444”. Action is strong. Shows minor wear and pitting around nipple area. Gun metal is good wearing a tarnished gray color.  [jet]
