Uhlinger produced these revolvers between 1861 and 1865.
Revolver has a 4.00 inch octagon .32 barrel that retains 85% of the original blue. Top flat is strongly stamped “W. L. GRANT” on a slight slant. Bore is good but dirty.
Six shot cylinder retains some of its blue and bears serial number 1095 which matches the number on the base of the grip. Cylinder turns freely at half-cock and locks tight at full-cock. Action is just a bit sloppy. Loading gate works properly.
Iron frame has recess for using the extractor rod but the plated frame surface is heavily worn. Frame screws show light wear.
Walnut grips are very good. [AD]
