This is a beautiful Smith & Wesson, No. 2, Old Model Army Revolver. It is a .32 caliber, six-shot revolver with a 6” barrel, rosewood handles, and full plate finish. Serial number 50,659.

All gun metal is plated and in very good condition; bright with scattered spots of wear to the plating on the cylinder and barrel. Rosewood handles are very good and the matching serial number is stamped inside. Stamping on the top of the barrel is badly worn with only scattered letters visible. Bore is clear with worn rifling. Mechanics are strong.

The accompanying leather holster is in good condition. It features an integral flap and single wide belt loop. Finial or button to close flap is missing. Stitching along seam is strong. Belt loop is tight and secure. The leather is soft and supple.  [jet]
