Weapon is 30-06 and is a World War Two product being made by the Remington Arms Company in 1942.

All metal surfaces have a parkerized finish. Barrel is marked near muzzle with an “RA” over a bursting bomb and the date “6-42.” Receiver has nice strong stamping that reads “U.S. / REMINGTON / MODEL 1903.” Serial number is 3153886. Bolt action is smooth. Safety and bolt extraction work well. Rear site has long flip up leaf with a sliding aperture and windage screw. Bore is clean and in excellent condition.

Stock is in excellent condition with hardly any signs of wear. No major dings or dents. The stock has a proof “P” behind the triggerguard and a small “RA” on the left side below the bolt. Left cheek near the buttplate is stamped with a small “OG.”

Rifle comes with a nice reproduction sling.

The weapon is in like new condition.
