Late 19th or early 20th Century large souvenir Gettysburg ribbon. Top bar is made of stamped brass and has the pin on back and a scrollwork design on front. Suspended from the top bar is a long red, white and blue ribbon with the Soldier’s National Monument from the National Cemetery done in gold ink at center. This is surmounted by the word “SOUVENIR” in large lettering in a scrollwork design box. Across the bottom of the monument is “GETTYSBURG” with a gold tassel design below it. All lettering and design work is done in gold ink. The ribbon meas. approx. 7.50 inches long x 2.50 inches wide.
The item is in very nice condition with only very light surface dirt. Ribbon is very strong and solid.
