This program is printed on one side only and meas. approx. 5.50 x 8.25 inches. It is a rare piece and not something commonly encountered. This item is from the personal collection of the Rosensteel family whose well-known Gettysburg collection forms the basis of the present day Gettysburg National Military Park collection.
Across the top in large letters is “PROGRAM” which is followed by “FOR THE DEDICATION OF MEMORIAL TO ALABAMA’S SOLDIERS OF THE CONFEDERACY. GETTYSBURG, PENNSYLVANIA NOVEMBER 12, 1933.” The rest of the document is taken up by a list of prayers, speakers and songs. The document has one vertical and one horizontal fold with light surface dirt throughout. The top left and lower right corners are folded otherwise the document is in good condition.
